**The Role**
We're seeking a Senior Agentic AI Software Engineer to join our high-impact AI innovation team. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on building production-grade AI systems that transform how insurance professionals work with complex data and workflows. You'll be part of a small, agile team delivering AI solutions that directly impact business operations and drive organizational change.
**What You Will Do**
Build sophisticated multi-agent AI systems that orchestrate complex business processes across underwriting, claims, and actuarial functions. You'll design intelligent workflows that connect disparate enterprise systems, enabling seamless data flow and automated decision support for critical business operations.
Develop and optimize large-scale document processing capabilities that handle millions of insurance documents with production-level accuracy and reliability. Your work will focus on the challenging final phase of AI implementation—achieving enterprise-grade precision and handling edge cases that matter in real business scenarios.
Lead the evolution of our React-based UI platform that's becoming the standard across the organization. You'll create sophisticated interfaces for AI-powered workflows, implement real-time streaming capabilities, and support other development teams as they adopt this growing component library.
Take full ownership of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes, managing the complete lifecycle from development to production. You'll work primarily in cloud environments while supporting the organization's strategic technology evolution and platform standardization initiatives.
Collaborate directly with business stakeholders including actuaries, underwriters, and claims professionals to understand domain-specific requirements and translate complex insurance workflows into scalable technical solutions.
**What We Are Looking For**
• 5+ years building production AI systems and agentic workflows
• Expert-level Python and TypeScript development experience
• Strong React component library development and full-stack capabilities
• Proven cloud infrastructure management and end-to-end deployment skills
• Experience with enterprise system integration and API development
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in AI systems with strong full-stack development skills and cloud infrastructure knowledge. You should have experience taking AI projects from prototype to production scale, with a track record of building reliable, maintainable systems that serve real business needs. We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and can work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
**Nice to Have**
• C# development experience and Microsoft stack integration
• Azure cloud platform migration and implementation experience
• Code quality tools experience including SonarQube
• Insurance or reinsurance industry domain knowledge
• Understanding of underwriting and claims processing workflows
Candidates with insurance industry experience will have a significant advantage in understanding the complex business context and regulatory requirements that shape our technical decisions.
