ABOUT THE COMPANY

THE ROLE
This is a high-impact contract opportunity for a seasoned project manager who thrives at the intersection of finance, strategy, and enterprise-scale execution. Embedded within a large Finance Transformation program, you will own and drive multiple interconnected work streams — spanning people, process, technology, and facilities — toward a clearly defined end-state operating model. Reporting to the program's senior leadership, you will serve as a critical connector between strategy and delivery, keeping cross-functional teams aligned, risks managed, and stakeholders informed at every level of the organization.
This role is ideal for a self-directed professional who can operate with minimal oversight, navigate ambiguity with confidence, and bring structure to complexity without losing sight of the bigger picture.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Project Communication and Coordination
• Translate program-level strategy into clear, actionable direction for regional and functional teams across concurrent workstreams
• Prioritize competing project demands and maintain momentum across a broad portfolio of interdependent initiatives
• Develop and deploy implementation documentation, migration schedules, and project toolkits to support consistent execution
• Surface and escalate risks proactively, clearly articulating potential business impact to program leadership
Strategic Planning and Portfolio Support
• Author and maintain key strategic artifacts including business cases, project plans, communication plans, and readiness assessments
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and program status updates to senior Finance leadership
• Facilitate structured decision-making processes that keep the program moving forward through complexity and competing priorities
• Partner with workstream leads to resolve issues, remove blockers, and drive alignment across functions
Program Controls and Governance
• Apply and uphold project controls, change management protocols, and governance standards across all assigned workstreams
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating appropriately and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
• Ensure change control processes are consistently followed and aligned across functions and geographies

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• 5–10+ years of project management experience in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated experience leading Finance Transformation or Finance PMO programs
• Finance or accounting background with strong functional fluency
• Proven ability to communicate and influence at the executive level
• Experience coordinating multiple large-scale, cross-functional projects simultaneously
• Strong command of Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Comfortable managing direct and indirect resources across dispersed locations
• Adaptable, collaborative, and effective in fast-moving organizational environments
The ideal candidate brings a rare combination of financial acumen and enterprise program management discipline. You understand how finance organizations operate — their processes, their pressures, and their language — and you know how to translate that understanding into structured, well-governed project delivery. You have worked inside large transformation programs before, you know how to build trust with senior stakeholders quickly, and you are equally comfortable in a strategy session as you are managing a detailed project plan. This role demands someone who leads with clarity, communicates with confidence, and executes with precision.
─────────────────────────────────────────
NICE TO HAVE
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Hands-on experience designing or implementing a Target Operating Model (TOM)
• Background in shared services transformation or finance consolidation initiatives
• Familiarity with the insurance industry and its regulatory and operational context
• Experience managing real estate or facilities workstreams within a broader transformation program
Candidates who bring experience with Target Operating Model design or shared services restructuring will be particularly well-positioned to add value from day one. Insurance industry knowledge is a meaningful plus, as is any exposure to the facilities and real estate dimensions that often accompany large-scale finance reorganizations. That said, what matters most is your track record of delivering complex programs — the domain knowledge can be built; the project management instincts cannot.
