Technical Lead .NET Developer
Contract | On-Site | Las Vegas, NV

About the Company
A leading enterprise software company with a strong footprint across complex, large-scale technology environments, this organization is known for delivering mission-critical solutions that power business operations at scale. They invest in technical talent who bring both depth of expertise and the ability to lead teams toward meaningful outcomes. Joining this team means working at the center of high-impact engineering decisions in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

The Role
This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity for a seasoned .NET professional who thrives at the intersection of engineering excellence and team enablement. You will take ownership of enterprise applications end to end — from architecture and design through to production stability — while guiding a distributed development team and serving as a trusted technical voice for both business and technology stakeholders. If you bring deep .NET expertise, a sharp instinct for diagnosing complex system issues, and the confidence to lead without stepping back from the code, this role was built for you.

What You Will Do
- Own the full technical lifecycle of enterprise .NET applications, including design, development, enhancement, and ongoing support
- Lead and mentor a distributed development team, setting technical direction and maintaining engineering standards
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for production incidents, driving rapid diagnosis and resolution of complex issues
- Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into sound, scalable solutions
- Evaluate and improve existing and legacy applications, identifying opportunities to modernize, stabilize, and optimize
- Contribute to solution design decisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and long-term maintainability
- Communicate technical concepts clearly across varying levels of technical fluency, from developers to business leaders

What We Are Looking For
• 12+ years of professional IT experience post-bachelor's degree
• 3+ years in a formal Technical Lead capacity
• Deep expertise in .NET application development
• Proven track record in enterprise application design and architecture
• Hands-on experience with production troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate distributed development teams
• Experience supporting and enhancing legacy applications
• Strong solution design skills across complex, multi-layered systems
The ideal candidate is a practitioner-leader — someone who commands technical respect through direct contribution while simultaneously elevating the engineers around them. This role demands a professional who has navigated the pressures of production environments, made sound architectural calls under real constraints, and kept distributed teams aligned and productive. A background that spans both greenfield development and the careful stewardship of mature, business-critical systems will be essential to succeeding here. Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical conversations are just as important as the engineering credentials.
